Racetech GPS Speedometer Sensor Kit
The GPS speed sensor GPS01KIT is customer configurable to output either 8,000 or 16,000 pulses per mile; 8,000 pulses being the recommended setting for most applications.
lf your speedometer has a full scale reading of 40mph or less, then the 16,000 pulse setting is applicable. The unit is supplied with 1.2 metre harness.
Acquisition of GPS satellites is necessary for proper function. lt may take up to 3 minutes from power-up for initial acquisition. Before acquisition, or when satellite view is obstructed there will be no speed signal output.
The unit can be mounted under the dash or another hidden area as long as you verify the speedometer is working properly before permanently mounting the receiver.
